The religious and spiritual beliefs and practices of foster parents will be assessed in relation to the willingness of the foster parents to seek medical treatment for a foster child, allow a foster child to celebrate holidays and birthdays and respect the religious and spiritual beliefs of a foster child and his or her family. Religious and spiritual beliefs may not be imposed upon foster children or prevent foster children from attending appropriate community and religious services and activities.
