1. Before requesting the removal of a child from a foster home, a provider of foster care shall make every effort to preserve the placement of the child within the foster home by working in partnership with the agency responsible for the foster child to support the well-being of the foster child. 2. A provider of foster care shall provide the agency responsible for a foster child with at least 10 working days’ notice of any request for the removal of the child from the foster home unless: (a) The provider has a written agreement with the agency which provides child welfare services to the contrary; or (b) There is an immediate and unanticipated danger to the foster child or another person if the child is not removed before that notice can be given.
