Regulations to ensure clients are identified in accordance with their gender identity or expression.

The Board shall adopt regulations that require an agency to provide personal care services in the home to: 1. Develop policies to ensure that a client is addressed by his or her preferred name and pronoun and in accordance with his or her gender identity or expression; and 2. Adapt electronic records to reflect the gender identities or expressions of clients with diverse gender identities or expressions, including, without limitation, adapting electronic records to include: (a) The preferred name and pronoun and gender identity or expression of a client; and (b) Any other information prescribed by regulation of the Board.
