“Emergency medical technician” means a person who is: 1. Certified by the health officer as having satisfactorily completed a program of training for certification as an emergency medical technician pursuant to NRS 450B.1905; or 2. Practicing as an emergency medical technician in this State under the Recognition of Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact ratified by NRS 450B.145.
