May 5, 1978 SUBJECT: INSURANCE Circular Letter No. 9 INFORMATION BULLETIN # 4 WITHDRAWN To: ALL INSURERS LICENSED TO WRITE FIRE INSURANCE IN NEW YORK STATE RE: LIENS AGAINST THE PROCEEDS OF FIRE INSURANCE POLICIES In accordance with the provisions of Chapters 738 and 739, Laws of 1977, which added Section 22 to the General Municipal Law and Section 33-a to the Insurance Law, the following cities, counties and villages have filed with the Insurance Department a notice of intention to claim against fire insurance proceeds.
