Rule 4717-14-01. Purpose

119.03 There is established a recovery fund which shall be administered by the board. The purpose of the fund is to reimburse the purchasers of preneed funeral contracts who have suffered financial loss as a result of malfeasance, misfeasance, default, failure, or insolvency in connection with the sale of a preneed funeral contract by any licensee under Chapter 4717. of the Revised Code.
