Rule 4755:3-2-04. Referring practitioner

119.03 In accordance with division (A) of section 4755.623 of the Revised Code, an athletic trainer practices upon the referral from the following: (A) A physician; (B) A dentist licensed under Chapter 4715. of the Revised Code; (C) A physical therapist licensed under Chapter 4755. of the Revised Code; (D) A chiropractor licensed under Chapter 4734. of the Revised Code; (E) An athletic trainer licensed under Chapter 4755. of the Revised Code, only if athletic training has already been recommended and referred by a health care provider listed in this rule who is not an athletic trainer; (F) A physician assistant licensed under Chapter 4730. of the Revised Code; or (G) A certified nurse practitioner licensed under Chapter 4723. of the Revised Code.
