Rule 145-1-45. Retirement deductions during faculty improvement leave

111.15 (A) Section 3345.28 of the Revised Code provides, in part, that no university faculty member shall suffer a reduction in his regular employee retirement benefits during a professional leave of absence. (B) During a professional leave the member shall contribute the prevailing member deduction rate applied to the salary he would have received had he been working at the university, on the regular reports of contribution submitted by the university. (C) The full salary also shall be the base on which the corresponding employer contribution shall be remitted.
