Rule 3309-1-15. Applicable law in determining survivor benefits

111.15 The law in effect at the time a deceased member's beneficiary is first eligible for a survivor benefit shall determine the benefits payable to such beneficiary or to any other person who subsequently becomes eligible to receive a survivor benefit by reason of the member's death prior to retirement.
