Mutual benefit societies excepted

October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Sections 3919.16 to 3919.38 , inclusive, of the Revised Code do not apply to any association of religious or secret societies, or to any class of mechanics, express, telegraph, or railroad employees, or of ex-union soldiers, formed for the mutual benefit of the member thereof and their families or blood relatives exclusively, or for purely charitable purposes.
