September 17, 2014 House Bill 117 - 130th General Assembly No captive insurance company shall adopt a name that is the same, deceptively similar, or likely to be confused with, or mistaken for, any other existing business name registered in this state. The name under which a captive insurance company engages in business must contain the word "captive."
