Certification of claim to recover funds

September 30, 2025 House Bill 96 - 136th General Assembly The department of job and family services or the director of children and youth may certify a claim to the attorney general under section 131.02 of the Revised Code for the attorney general to take action under that section against a responsible county grantee or responsible entity to recover any funds that the department determines the responsible county grantee or responsible entity owes the department for actions taken under division (C)(2), (3), (4), or (5) of section 5101.24 or 5101.241 of the Revised Code.
