Lead agency for part C early intervention services program

January 1, 2025 House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly The department of children and youth shall serve as the "lead agency," as described by 20 U.S.C. 1435(a)(10), to implement the state's part C early intervention services program, through which early intervention services are provided to eligible infants and toddlers in accordance with part C of the "Individuals with Disabilities Education Act," 20 U.S.C. 1431 et seq., and regulations implementing that part in 34 C.F.R. part 303.
