October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The director of agriculture in conducting investigations, inquiries, or hearings, and every person appointed by him, may administer oaths, certify to official acts, take depositions, issue subpoenas, compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of books, accounts, papers, records, documents, and testimony.
