Doak, Insurance Commissioner DATE: September 30, 2014 Effective on September 30, 2014, the Oklahoma Insurance Department will allow public access to SERFF rate and form filings through a link on the OID website. There will now be an even more convenient way for the public to access filings, although carriers should not see any change in the filing process. Carriers should continue to mark those parts of a filing that are confidential under the state’s Open Records Act. Filings have been available through a dedicated public access terminal located at the OID offices for some time. This new portal does not affect the information that is available to the public, only the access to that information. Any sections of a filing that are confidential under Oklahoma’s Open Records Act will remain confidential and not accessible via the web access.
