DOAK, OKLAHOMA INSURANCE COMMISSIONER DATE: June 15, 2016 On March 25, 2016, the Department is issued Bulletin PC 2016-02 in response to a number of complaints concerning coverage for the repair of storm damaged roofs. Just recently, we discovered that our citation to the current International Residential Code was incorrect. The corrected reference is contained in numbered paragraphs 1 and 2, below. Otherwise, Bulletin PC 2016-02 remains in effect. 1. Effective July 15, 2011, the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (“OUBCC”) adopted the 2009 International Residential Code (“IRC”). 2. The 2009 IRC, as amended and revised by the rules of the OUBCC constitutes the statewide minimum standards for residential construction pursuant to 59 O.S. § 1000.23 and OAC 748:20-5-11.1.
