The skilled nursing unit shall be considered a department of the
hospital and therefore shall be administered by the governing body and
the administrator. The unit shall also have a full-time manager who may
be the nursing director of the unit. This manager shall have the
administrative authority and responsibility for the day to day operation
of the unit.
