Requirements for registration for licensure reciprocity for long term care
Cite as Okla. Admin. Code § 310:679-10-4.1
administrators [REVOKED]
(a)In addition to the general requirements found in this Chapter and upon the applicant fully proving
eligibility for licensure by endorsement (they must meet all the same requirement as outlined in 10-1-4),
each applicant registering their license from another state to work in Oklahoma with that license shall be
required to pay an application fee to begin the process of registering their out-of-state license in
Oklahoma. Registrants will be required agree to comply with and culpable for Oklahoma and federal
laws applicable to the facilities where they are employed as well as for the laws applicable to licensed
Oklahoma long-term care administrators. Upon receipt of the required documents, and receipt of a
registration fee equivalent to the licensure fee, the Executive Director may approve the registration so
long as there are no negative indicators, or otherwise the application will have to be approved by the
Board (similar to the licensure by endorsement process).
(b) Renewals of the registrations will also follow similar procedures to licensure renewals expiring at the
end of the calendar year and being renewed with a renewal fee equivalent to licensure fees.
Should the original license lapse or be vacated for any reason, the registration for use in Oklahoma will be
considered invalidated.
Any violations of Oklahoma law as determined by the Board through the probable cause process can
result in the same penalties as well as being reported to the NPDB and/or the jurisdiction where the
original license(s) is/are held.
