Voluntary closing

(a) Any owner of a residential care home shall give ninety (90) days' notice to the residents and the Department prior to voluntarily closing a home or closing any part of a home if the closing will require the transfer or discharge of more than ten percent (10%) of the residents. The notice shall include the proposed date of closing and the reason for closing. (b) The home shall offer to assist the resident in securing alternate placement. (c) The Department shall be notified if there is need for relocation assistance.
