IGtzhaber, M.D., Governor OREGON INSURANCE DIVISION BULLETIN INS 2001-9 DATE: OCTOBER 15,2001 TO: ALL HEALTH INSURERS RE: WITHDRAWAL OF BULLETIN INS 95-5 AND INS 96-1 The purpose of the above mentioned bulletins was to clarify coverage and benefit requirements for the women's preventive health care services set forth in the following statutes: Breast cancer screening or diagnosis examinations (ORS 743.727) Pelvic examinations and pap tests (ORS 743.728) These statutes have been repealed pursuant to ORS 743.700 (sunset law), and therefore the bulletins are not relevant. Effective November 1,2001, Insurance Bulletins INS 95-5 and 96-1 are withdrawn. - ------
