OAR 345-050-0075. Alternate Technology

A person shall not locate a waste disposal facility at a site un­less there is no available alternative disposal technology that would better protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public and the environment. In making this finding, the Council shall con­sider proven, demonstrated technology, including but not limited to existing hazardous waste and radioactive waste disposal site technologies.
