OAR 411-087-0150. Nurses’ Station

Each floor with resident rooms shall have a nurses’ station with space for charting and storage for administrative supplies: (1) Handwash Sink. There shall be a handwash sink, exclusive of resident and soiled utility room handwash sinks, within 20 feet of the nurses’ station. (2) Exceptions. The handwash sink required in section (1) of this rule is not required in a facility which has been continuously licensed since January 1, 1992 unless otherwise provided by OAR 411-087-0010.
