OAR 413-100-0830. Paternity and Parentage Establishment

The Department will refer substitute care cases to DCS for establishment of parentage under any of the following circumstances: (1) Only one parent is listed on the child’s birth record; or (2) The Department has not begun the parentage establishment process through genetic testing.
