OAR 471-030-0015. Social Security Account Number

(1) Each employee in employment subject to the Employment Department Law shall procure a Federal Social Security Account Number and report this number to every employer for whom the employee is engaged in employment. (2) Employers shall furnish appropriate Social Security Application forms to each employee who does not have an account number. (3) It shall be the responsibility of the employer that such applications are filed by each such employee within 30 days after the date on which employment begins.
