OAR 471-070-3700. Assistance Grants: Definitions

“Significant additional wage-related costs” means added expenses incurred by the employer due to an eligible employee's use of family leave, medical leave, or safe leave and include: (1) Paying additional wages to an existing employee; (2) Outsourcing costs; (3) Certification; (4) Equipment purchases; (5) Training costs; or (6) Other costs that the department, in its discretion, determines are appropriate.
