OAR 635-500-1120. Trout

(1) The following operating principle applies to the Long Tom Subbasin: Cutthroat trout shall be managed for natural production of wild populations consistent with the Wild Fish Management Policy. No hatchery trout shall be released. (2) In accordance with this operating principle, it is the objective of the Department to: (a) Protect and enhance the productivity of wild cutthroat trout populations; (b) Provide self-sustaining fisheries for cutthroat trout.
