OAR 635-500-1200. Shad

(1) The following operating principle applies to the Main Stem Willamette Subbasin: Shad shall be managed for sport angling in the Willamette River. (2) In accordance with this operating principle, it is the objective of the Department to: (a) Increase public awareness of the sport angling opportunities for shad; (b) Monitor the catch and angling effort of the sport fishery.
