OAR 635-500-1260. Crayfish

It is the objective of the Department to: (1) Assess the population status and commercial harvest of crayfish in the Willamette River. (2) Determine the size and importance of the recreational crayfish harvest in the Willamette River. (3) Raise concern with Department of Environmental Quality on the need for testing lower Willamette River crayfish for dioxin and other potential toxic substances and manage the fishery according to the findings.
