It is the objective of the Department to: (1) Protect and enhance existing populations of Oregon chub in the Santiam subbasin. (2) Establish new populations of Oregon chub in isolated waters in the Santiam subbasin where possible. (3) Promote greater public understanding and appreciation of the status of Oregon chub.
