OAR 735-126-0010. Fire Extinguisher

(1) Each vehicle used to transport workers shall be equipped with either a two pound dry chemical type, or a four pound carbon dioxide type, or a one quart vaporizing type fire extinguisher. Such extinguishers must be approved by Underwriter Laboratories, Inc., or other acceptable testing agency, or by the inspecting authority. (2) Toxic vaporizing liquid type fire extinguishers such as those containing carbon tetrachloride or chlorobromethane will not be permitted on motor vehicles transporting workers.
