OAR 847-070-0055. Duties of the Committee

The Acupuncture Advisory Committee shall: (1) Review and recommend approval or disapproval of all applications submitted to the Board for acupuncture licensing and for renewal thereof. (2) Recommend to the Board standards of professional responsibility and practice for licensed acupuncturists. (3) Recommend to the Board standards of didactic and clinical education and training for acupuncture licensing. (4) Recommend to the Board standards for clinical supervisors and trainees. (5) Recommend to the Board licensing examinations, and temporary licenses as considered appropriate.
