OAR 918-400-0275. Accident Reporting

(1) The division or Chief Elevator Inspector shall be notified of an elevator injury to a person or persons. (2) The elevator shall be placed out of service following an injury to a person or persons. The elevator or any part of its equipment shall not be changed or altered, repaired or moved, except to give emergency aid or assistance to the injured person or persons. (3) The elevator shall not be returned to service without permission from the division.
