OAR 918-400-0545. Permits for Installation or Alteration

(1) A permit issued for installation or alteration of an elevator shall automatically expire 18 months from date of issuance unless the physical installation or alteration started before the end of the 18th month. (2) Two unconditional six-month permit extensions may be granted on written request by the elevator contractor, if the extension is requested prior to the permit expiration date. (3) Upon expiration of a permit, a new application, new plans, pertinent data and associated fees are required. (4) Fees shall not be refunded for expired permits.
