OAR 257-050-0040. Authority

(1) These Administrative Rules are promulgated pursuant to ORS 181.440, which permits the Superintendent of the Oregon State Police to make rules governing the eligibility of tow businesses to be placed and remain on any list of listed tow businesses used by the Department when it requests towing services on behalf of any person. (2) All listed tow businesses providing service to the public and the Department through calls received from the Oregon State Police shall conduct their business operation in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
