The Handbook and Tariff No. 2 rules and regulates the maritime operations and activities conducted at the Port of Mayagüez, as well as, determine, fix and impose tariffs, charges, rents and other miscellaneous fees for the services or use of the Port's facilities. (See 23 LPRS 555 (1). This document supersedes Rule No. 7973 of December 27, 2010, entitled "Handbook and Tariff No. 1A" since it is due in December 31, 2011. Handbook and Tariff No. 2 improves language, and incorporate certain clarifications to rules and conditions, such as to identify the specific tariffs value applicable for the use of the Port's facilities and services. In addition, are established the tariffs valid from January 1st of 2011 until December 31, 2016.
