Sheave Beams or Floor and Their Supports.
The unit stresses for all machinery and sheave
beams and floors and their supports, based on the
loads computed as specified in Rule 105.2, shall not
exceed eighty (80) per cent of those permitted for
static loads by the following codes:
a. Structural Steel. AISC Specification for
the Design, Fabrication and Erection of
Structural Steel for Buildings 1963.
b. Reinforced Concrete. Building Code,
Requirements for Reinforced Concrete,
ACI 318-63.
