PURPOSE The purpose of this amendment is to formally establish the policy of the Division of Motor Vehicles of the Rhode Island Department of Administration, limiting the issuance of News Photographer registration plates to one set per individual for use on the one vehicle the plates are registered to. II. SCOPE These regulations apply to all applications for the issuance of News Photographer registration plates. III. AUTHORITY These rules and regulations and this amendment are adopted pursuant to Title 31, Chapter 2, Section 4 of the Rhode Island General Laws. 4.0 – Application and Fee for News Photographer Registration Plates A. Applicants for News Photographer registration plates must be a staff News Photographer as defined below:…….. Paragraphs 1 through 8 remain the same. Paragraph 9 is added thereto and reads: 9. News Photographer registration plates shall be limited to the issuance of one set per individual for use on the one vehicle the plates are registered to. Paragraphs 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 shall remain the same. -1- IV.
