Farmer RE: Bulletin 2014-06 Deadline Extension for Temporary, Non-Resident Adjusters DATE: June 5, 2014 The South Carolina Department of Insurance (Department) issued Bulletin 2014-06 on May 24, 2014 permitting the registration of temporary, non-resident adjusters to assist with evaluating and expediting resolutions to claims resulting from a severe thunderstorm and hail event that impacted numerous South Carolina counties on Friday, May 23, 2014. The Department has determined that, due to the excessive and unanticipated amount of claims resulting from this weather event, the deadline for temporary, non-resident adjusters to assist with the handling of these claims is hereby extended to Friday, August 1, 2014.
