Bulletin 1999-3 Premium Finance Companies

Csiszar, Director Subject: Premium Finance Companies It has come to the Department's attention that some insurers are requiring the use of a particular premium finance company for policies written by that insurer. Section 38-5-200 allows all insureds and applicants the freedom to choose among all available premium financing. Insurers may not restrict the right to choose in any way, directly or indirectly.
