A. The method for processing and payment of claims shall be an automated system totally dedicated to the MIAP and incorporated into the MIAP Manual. B. Providers may seek a correction to the statistical calculation which establishes the maximum allowable payment rate by requesting in writing a reconsideration of such rate to: Bureau of Health Services, Hospital Reimbursement South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Post Office Box 8206 Columbia, South Carolina 29202-8206 If the provider disagrees with the decision of the Department, he may appeal that decision in accordance with R.126-150 et seq.
