S.C. Code Regs. 103-41. Carload and Ton Defined

A carload shipment is a consignment of at least the specified minimum carload weight of one class of freight, at one time, by one consignor, from one point of consignment to one consignee, at one point of delivery. A ton is 2,000 pounds unless otherwise provided.
