S.C. Code Regs. 20-27.45. Time of Round; Rest Period

(1) Each round of a mixed martial arts contest shall be three (3) minutes unless approved in advance by the Commission Representative. However, in the event of a knockdown near the end of a round, the round shall continue until the official count has ended. (2) Each rest period between rounds shall be one (1) minute.
