S.C. Code Regs. 5-77. Cucumber Grades

A. All cucumbers offered for sale must be inspected by United States Department of Agriculture shipping point inspection service and be covered by an official inspection certificate. B. The following grades are approved for sale: A. Super Select—must grade U. S. No. 1 or better. Select—must grade U. S. No. 2 or better. Small—must grade U. S. No. 1 Small or better. Large—must grade U. S. No. 1 Large or better. Cartons—must grade U. S. No. 1, 2 5/8 inch maximum diameter. C. The sale of culls, and the disposition of culls in any manner which may provide the opportunity for another person to sell cull cucumbers, is prohibited. C.
