PART I GENERAL PROVISIONS RHC 1.1. Purpose and Scope. 1.1.1 These regulations establish procedures for the registration and the use of particle accelerators. 1.1.2 Except as otherwise specifically provided, these regulations apply to all persons who develop, manufacture, receive, possess, use, transfer, own, or acquire any industrial use particle accelerator. 1.1.3 In addition to the requirements of this Regulation, all registrants are subject to the requirements of Parts I, II, III, VIII, and X of R.61-64, X-Rays (Title B). Registrants engaged in the healing arts are subject to the requirements of Part VI of R.61-64, X-Rays (Title B). Registrants whose operations result in the production of radioactive material are also subject to the requirements of R.61-63, Radioactive Materials (Title A).
