S.C. Code Regs. 71-5300. Permits and Certificate Required

1. Construction Permits: A person, firm or corporation shall not erect, construct, alter or install after July 1, 1986, any facility without first obtaining from the Director a construction permit for such work. 2. Registration and Operating Certificate: A person, firm, or corporation shall not operate any facility serving any building or structure without a certificate of registration and an operating certificate issued by the Director.
