S.C. Code Regs. 71-8303.7. Dealers Performing Hydrostatic Testing

A. Each dealer performing hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers manufactured according to the specifications of the USDOT shall be required to possess a valid license issued by the USDOT. All hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers shall be performed per the appropriate USDOT standards and NFPA standards. B. Each employee certified to conduct hydrostatic testing shall maintain USDOT certification and provide a copy of the current certification to the OSFM upon request.
