S.C. Code Regs. 71-8306.1. General

A. The purpose of these regulations are to provide reasonable safety and protection to the public, public property, private property from the hazards associated with Hydrogen fuel facilities intended for retail purchase by the general public to power motor vehicles. B. Permitting of such hydrogen facilities in this State must be by the State Fire Marshal, or he may delegate this permitting authority to a qualifying county or municipal official in accordance with S.C. Code Ann. Section 23-9-540.
