S.C. Code Regs. 114-3320. Initiation Procedures

A. Person may file complaints concerning situations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation with which they are familiar by writing or calling the local county Department of Social Services. The reporter may remain anonymous. B. Individuals in need of help may request that protective services be provided to them by the local county Department of Social Services. C. The agency may provide protective services to individuals pursuant to order of the Family Court.
