ARSD 20:50:04:05. Use of word "doctor."

No optometrist, when using the title of "doctor" in advertising, may qualify it in any way other than by the use of the word "optometrist." When not using the title, an optometrist may use the letters "O.D." after the optometrist's name, or the word "optometrist," or both.
