ARSD 67:16:25:03. Rate of payment -- Ground and air ambulance services

The rate of payment for ground or air ambulance service is the base fee, loaded mileage, and other medically necessary covered services. Payment is limited to the lesser of the provider's usual and customary charge or the fee contained on the department's fee schedule website. The procedures and associated rates of payment are subject to review and amendment under the provisions of § 67:16:01:28.
